Great outcomes in family law matters are the result of careful preparation and appreciation of a client’s needs. Heather’s practice is built on hard work and insight based on experience. She works with clients in both Calgary and Vancouver, with a focus on cases involving complex matrimonial property issues and support claims.
Heather has represented clients before all levels of court, including the Court of Appeal. She practiced with a large family law firm before co-founding Fraese Aymont Family Lawyers. Aiming to create a new kind of family law firm, Heather’s focus on resolving disputes on a practical basis has helped Fraese Aymont become a leading Western Canadian family & divorce law firm.
Heather is committed to helping clients navigate divorce and separation to make a new beginning. She has also helped many families grow through adoption, including both step-parent and third party adoptions.
Heather graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in English in 2008 (with distinction) and from the University of Alberta with an LLB in 2011. She is an avid runner, and has run numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon (2017 & 2019), the London Marathon (2021), the New York Marathon (2022) and the Chicago Marathon (2019).
