Professional Bio
Hi! I’m Katherine and I’m a family lawyer and mediator.
I began practicing family law in my hometown of Chatham-Kent. In a short time, I established a reputation as a calm, matter-of-fact, and compassionate lawyer. Through my membership with the Association of Family Conciliation Courts (Ontario Chapter) and the Ontario Association for Family Mediation, I have learned how the process of family mediation can provide a faster and more efficient alternative to family court.
Mediation empowers separating spouses by giving both individuals the tools to make informed decisions about their own futures. My combination of frank honesty and creative problem solving helps to bring stability to my clients who are finding their way through one of life’s most challenging transitions. I am very excited to provide this service and to help families to navigate their marital relationships in a healthy and collaborative way.
