Divorcepath Professional plans include a 7-day free trial. Use this guide to start your account and get into the platform quickly.
Step 1: Go to the pricing page
Visit divorcepath.com/pricing, make sure the Professional tab is selected, and click Start 7-Day Free Trial. If you are evaluating Divorcepath for a larger team, use the Talk to Sales option instead so we can help with rollout planning.
Step 2: Create your login
Enter your work email address, then choose a password and enter it again in Confirm Password. Tick the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, then click Create account.
Step 3: Tell us about your practice
Next, choose the option that best describes your practice, such as Lawyer / law clerk / paralegal, Mediator / ADR professional, or Financial professional / accountant, and click Continue. Then select the Divorcepath features that are relevant to your work and click Continue again. These choices tailor your setup, in-app guidance, and onboarding emails, and you can change what you use later.
Step 4: Complete your profile
Enter your first and last name, your organization name, organization type, and the province where your organization practises. You can also choose whether to receive product updates by email. Click Continue to trial.
Step 5: Start your trial
On the next screen, choose how you would like to be billed if you keep your subscription after the trial (monthly or annual) and how many team seats you need. Click Enter card details to start free trial to complete secure checkout in Stripe. A card is required to start the trial, but there is no subscription charge today. Your 7 days start once checkout is complete, and billing begins after the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
If you are not ready, you can leave this page and come back later. Your account and profile are saved, but your trial won't start until you complete checkout.
Step 6: Verify your email address
When you create your login, Divorcepath sends a verification email to the address you used. Open it and click the link to confirm your address. If the link has expired, open it while signed in and Divorcepath will send you a new one.
Step 7: Start your workflow
Once your trial starts, your Professional workspace opens on the Home page. The Getting started card in the sidebar walks you through adding your first matter, and the Start work cards take you straight into the core workflow:
- create client files and capture matter data
- run child support, spousal support, and property calculations
- generate court forms and draft agreements
- send client interviews and collect intake information
- upload financial documents for AI extraction
